Consumers across the United States and Canada are waiting for Disney+ to go live later this year (and probably not till 2020 in Canada). While we all wait the list of questions about the new streaming video service continues to grow. We do know that Disney will be producing original content, some of they have confirmed includes several original shows and movies for the platform, including two live-action “Star Wars” shows and Marvel TV series spinning out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Current licensing deals will limit the amount of content Disney has on the service at launch, such as the classic Star Wars movies. Talks with Turner Broadcasting, which owns the TV rights to the movies, stalled in August, according to Bloomberg.
