Cue Digital Media Adds Several Senior Executives

Rajan Sharma joins Cue as its new National Sales Director of News, Business and Finance. Jason Lord and Chnida Walsh have come aboard as National Sales Executives for theSports Group, Shelley Wilson was appointed to Cue’s Women’s Group and Caitlin Wakefield joins Cue’s growing Entertainment Sales team.

Rajan Sharma joins as National Sales Director, News, Business and Finance. In the role, Rajan Sharma will  manage access to the company’s premium news platforms, including CNN, CNN Money, Business Insider and Vox.com. Rajan has nearly 20 years of digital media sales and brand marketing experience garnered from holding a variety of senior roles with several prominent media and advertising companies, most recently with Tremor Video, CBC and The Weather Network.

Caitlin Wakefield has been hired as National Executive, Entertainment Sales where she will focus on Cue’s slate of premium entertainment platforms, including Rolling Stone, College Humor and GameSpot.  Prior to joining, Caitlin was an account executive at Videology and worked closely with national advertisers during her time at Rogers Media and Bell Media.

Jason Lord and Chnida Walsh have both joined as National Executives, Sports Sales focusing on Cue’s sports portfolio that features top international sites and boasts all Canadian digital assets for Bleacher Report, SB Nation, and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Jason has previously held senior strategy roles with Wave Digital Media, AcuityAds and Rogers Media. Chnida brings more than 10 years of senior sports sales experience to the Cue team. She previously held senior roles at Insight Sports, The Hockey News and The Score. 

Shelley Wilson joined as a National Executive, Women’s Group and will manage the full slate of female-skewing inventory that includes Us Weekly, Bustle and Thought Catalog.   Previously Shelley was with  Jones Media where she managed several high performing brand campaigns for major Canadian clients. She has also held Account Executive roles at Mode Media and TC Media.
