It is now official, Corby has been appointed Vice President of Digital Commerce at CIBC. In the role he will lead the development of the CIBC Digital Commerce strategy, including search engine optimization, relationships with third-party providers, and ongoing improvements to the functionality of CIBC.com and mobile and tablet advances. He will also will lead both the technical and business aspects of a successful digital commerce business; full P & L responsibilities and web analytics.
Corby had been with Rogers since January 2009 in various roles including Director, Business Development & Marketing; Senior Director, Business Development; and most recently Vice President, Customer Intelligence & Digital Experience. Prior to that he was Mighty Digital as Group Account Director, Digital Strategy; Elsevier Interactive Solutions at Account Director.
Corby will start with CIBC effective May 8, 2017.
