As New York-based Teads aims to expand its video advertising platform north of the border they have appointed RJ Pauloski as Vice President of Sales and Business Development. In the new role, RJ will be responsible for all demand and supply activities in the Canadian marketplace. He will manage a sales team with the goal of selling and evangelizing Teads’ outstream video advertising formats to brands, advertising agencies and agency trading desks in the Canadian advertising market. RJ will report to Jim Daily, Teads‘ President for the U.S. and Canada.
Prior to the appointment, RJ was Sales Director at AOL Canada where he focused on developing market & sales strategy for AOL’s programmatic media products as well as defining and executing programmatic sales. Before that he was with Microsoft Advertising Canada as a Sales Director; Senior Account Executive Microsoft Advertising Canada; and Senior Territory Manager at MySpace Canada.
Fun Fact: Many years before he brought his talents to the advertising industry, RJ was a butcher’s apprentice. Today, he still enjoy making his own sausages and smoked meats.
