PopemobileBack in early 2015 many people in the ad industry were shocked to hear the scandal that hit MDC Partners.   News broke that its Founder Miles Nadal was being investigated for “misappropriating” funds from the company. This lead to Miles stepping down from the company as the SEC opened an investigation into the matter.
It seems that Miles’ shopping days have not come to and end as news has broken that he is now the owner of the “Popemobile.” Auction site Charitybuzz reports that one of the Fiat 500s used by Pope Francis when he was in New York in September has been sold to Miles for $300,000.
Proceeds from the sale will go to Catholic schools and charities in the city, as well as to the international organizations Catholic Relief Services and Catholic Near East Welfare Association.
