Toronto-based FundThrough has announced the appointment of Mitch Solway as the startup’s new Vice President of Marketing. In the new role Mitch will be responsible for customer acquisition and business growth. He is also responsible for growing the company’s team by attracting the best talent in the industry, and building the FundThrough name through integrated branding, positioning, marketing and public relations programs.

Most recently Mitch was Vice President of Marketing at Clearfit; prior to the he served in senior marketing roles at Vidyard, FreshBooks and Lavalife.
Fun Fact: Growing up, Mitch was a professional magician, he performed at kids’ birthday parties. His signature effect was producing chocolate chip cookies for everyone. He “retired” after completing university, but still has quite an extensive magic library.
