Breaking: SGS International Acquires Traffik

rp_deal-150x150.jpgLouisville-based SGS International (SGS), a global print production and packaging services company has just acquired Toronto-based marketing services firm Traffik. Traffik’s 90-person team of copywriters, art directors, strategists, client-service professionals and production artists will integrate into the SGS creative engine immediately.

The common shared vision of both companies will allow for an increased offering to their respective customers, the new business model will leverage the strengths and expertise of each organization and offer clients a comprehensive suite of new and efficient scalable services.

Mark Ferrier, Traffik’s Founder and current Chief Executive Officer will continue to lead Traffik while taking on an expanded role within SGS to oversee the Canadian SGS operations.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Update: Traffik joins in a string of other Canadian agencies who have been acquired in the last 60 days including Colour, Sid Leew.illi.am
