Cundari has announced the ad agency has hired five new staff and promoted six of their current team members in key disciplines including account management, communications, new business and design.
The account service teams have expanded with three senior additions. Catherine Klunder joins Cundari as Group Account Director and will work on clients including Jamieson, OLG and Purolator. Prior to joining the agency, Catherine worked as an Account Director at DentsuBos and 360i Canada on brands including Manulife, Scotts Canada, Canon and Lindt.
Jennifer Cunningham has been brought on as Account Director on the BMW brand account. Most recently, she worked at Würstlin Group on various Rogers initiatives and, before that, at DentsuBos on the Toyota and Lexus accounts where she led both the brand and dealer business.
In the Montréal office, Anne-Marie Dontigny has been hired as Account Director. She previously worked on the marketing team at Dairy Farmers of Canada, in addition to past stints at Marketel and Sid Lee.
Melanie Filipp has been appointed to the role of Marketing and PR Manager. She will manage external communications, lead the agency’s profile building and support new business development. Melanie joins Cundari from Harbinger, where she was Earned Media Strategist on brands including Unilever, Molson Coors and Wrigley.
On the design side, Bora Alap has been hired as Interactive Designer. He is a recent graduate of Humber College’s Creative Advertising program and has completed internships at Cossette and Lowe Roche.
Rounding out the new hires, Cundari has promoted several staff members on its client service, new business and media teams: Filipe da Luz has been promoted to Account Director; Krisztina Virag is now Account Supervisor; Spencer Henderson is now Relationship Marketing Supervisor; Madjid Hamidi has been promoted to Senior Account Executive in Montréal;Chris Vigmond is now Account Executive; Eric Battiston is now Media Associate.
