TELUS Ups Its Video Content Discovery Capabilities With New Jinni Partnership

JinniWith their wireless networking offering and television offering through the Optik TV brand, TELUS has also signed an agreement with Israel0-based Jinni to offer customers a new way to find video content.  Jinni’s video discovery platform has been implemented on TELUS set-top-boxes for on-demand TV and movie content recommendations on Optik TV. The Jinni platform features a unique taste-and-mood based discovery tools that make finding something to watch easier for consumers. The platform currently uses over 2,000 semantic tags, accurate descriptions of on demand and TV shows and movies enabling faster browsing and content discovery by the viewer.
