TC Media Announces New Appointments in the Interactive Marketing Solutions Group

TC Media is continuing to beef up its talent roster, recently the media company announced five new additions which will all be part of the Interactive Marketing Solutions group, led by Patrick Lauzon, Senior Vice President. 

Louis-Jacques_DarveauLouis-Jacques Darveau has come aboard as VP, Content Solutions and General Manager of Totem.  Over the course of his career, Louis-Jacques has applied his thought leadership and creative insight to help boost the performance of various high-profile companies in Canada, the US and Europe, including NEC Computers, Bell, INCO (now Vale), Imperial Tobacco, and the Montreal Transit Authority (STM). He also held key management positions such as VP, Marketing and Business Development at Mediative and VP, Corporate Marketing at Mediagrif Interactive Technologies. Most recently he has initiated an ambitious printed publication, serving as Editor and Publisher of The Alpine Review.

Mohamed  KahlainMohamed Kahlain has been hired as Vice President, Shopper Marketing Network. Before joining TC Media, Mohamed was VP Marketing and Product Innovation at Mediative. In the past, he held similar positions with organizations such as Yellow Pages Group, Sun Media – Quebecor and Desjardins Group. Mohamed has a keen sense of innovation and exceptional skill at turning ideas into realities. Over the course of his career, he has developed clear views on the media revolution and digital marketing, and has a broad scope of competencies in all the digital stakes (Digital Advertising, RTB & Data Advertising, Digital Performance, Product Development & Location Based Marketing).



Chris OsborneChris Osborne takes on the role of Vice President, Data & Analytics, he was formerly with Totem, a company acquired by TC Media in 2008, he expanded the vision of the data analytics division he built from the ground up to launch a new Strategic Planning Practice to design and manage major marketing programs driving customer engagement, loyalty and results. Chris has held several key positions at TC Media, and was most recently VP, Strategic Consumer Insights, offering our customers a deep expertise in sophisticated data, analytics and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Chris started his career at the Bank of Montreal, where he pioneered the use of customer data to drive business, including the development of the bank’s first customer data warehouse.



warrenj ansonsWarren comes to TC Media as Sales Director, Shopper Marketing, Ad Network and Media. Before joining TC Media, Warren held various key sales management positions within Mediative (Director of Sales, Performance and Programmatic, and Director of Strategic Alliances Retail). In 2009/2010, he was a Partner and the Sales Director for Canada at Ad Splash Media, before the company was acquired by Mediative (YPG) in 2010. As well as working in the UK, Warren has been part of many successful startups and has received awards from his peers, including Calgary Magazines Top 40 Under 40.




Robert G LakeRob Lakes joins the team as Director, Retail Sales and is a seasoned leader with 16 years of client facing experience with enterprise marketing, media and technology companies. Rob has made his mark as Business Account Manager at Conversys where he started in 2006, and then rose through the ranks when the company was acquired by TC Media in 2010. Appointed Sales Operations Manager and then Account Director, his most recent position, Rob has leveraged his great business acumen, his ability to build strong relationships in the market and his commitment to deliver the best client experience in order to deliver solid results. He previously worked at Protek Systems as Senior IT Account Executive.
