Let's Make A DealThey may be down, but that isn’t stopping Waterloo-based BlackBerry quietly announced last week that it has acquired Scroon, a French startup that manages Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts for large clients back in May. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed but the acquisition does make sense as Blackberry continues to push out its Blackberry Messenger (BBM) instant messaging service which they company recently expanded to run on Android and iOS platforms.

$1 billion in the bank + acquisition of Scroon + new CEO – Is it enough to turn Blackberry around?
