Dairy QueenDaily Queen is launching their latest campaign and targeting Canadian moms to help customize cakes they way they want it.  As the end of the summer approaches, Dairy Queen wants to help families celebrate and will be giving 200 cakes to moms in order to drive trial and generate social recommendations for its online cake ordering system.

The site, www.dqcakes.com, allows customers to order and fully customize cakes – from the size, shape and icing to uploading a photo with which to decorate the cake.  Customers can choose from either a classic DQ Cake or a DQ Blizzard Cake.

“We know that moms are incredibly busy, so we developed DQCakes.com as a time-saving tool for making each celebration special.” says Candida Ness, Director of Marketing from Dairy Queen Canada. “Now, families don’t have to make their own cake or get to a store in time, because dqcakes.com is open 24/7.”

The campaign is powered by ChickAdvisor’s brand activation platform HEFT. Two-hundred participants will be selected from ChickAdvisor’s database to experience the Dairy Queen “design your own cake” tool. The group’s social media engagement will be tracked and the group will be surveyed about their experience.
