Nonprofit arts and culture youth organization Manifesto, recently received a $326,600 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) that it will use to build the online version of its Freshest Goods Market. The organization launched Manifesto back in 2008 as a platform to help Toronto-based street-ware designers a way to showcase their respective products to would-be shoppers.
The grant will be distributed to Manifesto over a three-year period and allow the organization into an online community. The money will also help the organization to grow their product base, allowing Manifesto to support emerging talent in fashion, music and art.
