Kevin Kimsa Joins OMERS Ventures As Venture Partner

Kevin KimsaOMERS Ventures just announced  that Kevin Kimsa is joining the venture capital firm’s team as Venture Partner. In this role Kevin will support both early and later-stage growth portfolio companies in the North American market, with a focus on the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors.

Kevin has over 20 years in operational management positions at growth companies. This includes his continuing role as Executive Chair of AudienceView Ticketing, a company he Co-Founded in 2002 which today provides a live event e-commerce platform serving 170 clients in 15 countries.

His past successes include co-founding Solect Technology Group, an IP billing software firm acquired by Amdocs Inc. in 2000 for US$1.2 billion. As Solect’s Chief Operating Officer Mr. Kimsa was part of a management team that completed four financing rounds with a mixture of venture capitalists and strategic investors. He also founded software firm Casero Inc., which was acquired by Radialpoint in 2009.
