Google Canada Brings Public Alerts To Google Now, Search And Maps

Some safety news from Google Canada, as the company has made some updates to its Google Public Alerts page, Google Search, Google Maps on both desktop and mobile, and in Google Now.  Canadians will now be able to get up to the minute drastic weather change alerts which is designed to provide accurate and relevant emergency alerts when people need them.

Working very closely with Public Safety Canada and Environment Canada to use their meteorological data, and ensure users are notified of severe weather when relevant.
