Taste of Home CanadaReader’s Digest launched their newest magazine this in Canada this week, Taste of Home Canada which they hope will continue on the success its counterpart had in the US for the last two decades.

“The U.S. version of Taste of Home has a Canadian circulation of 75,000, so we wanted to bring a more localized cooking and entertaining resource to expand the Canadian readership base,” said Philippe Cloutier, General Manager, Reader’s Digest Association, Canada. “Based in our Montreal offices, the addition of Taste of Home Canada to our product portfolio will continue to strengthen our brand presence in the Canadian market and offer our advertising and retail partners new ways to reach Canadian consumers.”

The new mag hits newsstands on June 3 and will come in both English and French and published on a quarterly basis.  To celebrate the launch, the editor will be inviting Canadians to share their passion for cooking by submitting their best-loved recipes, cooking secrets and tips, humorous anecdotes and glimpses into their kitchens and lives. Beginning on February 22, 2013, fans can enter quarterly cooking contests for a chance to win $500 and to be featured in an upcoming issue of Taste of Home Canada. Readers will be able to submit their favourite dish at: www.tasteofhomecanada.com.
