2012 Digi Awards, And The Winners Are…

Last night Canada’s digital industry got together to celebrate the accomplishments and growth over the past year as the 2012 Digi Awards where held in downtown Toronto.  This year’s host was Harley Morenstein, the YouTube celebrity best known for his outrageous online cooking show ‘Epic Meal Time’, along with award-winning TV host and producer Anne-Marie Withenshaw. Andrew Bravener and Andrew Gunadie were also on hand to provide comic relief for all attendees.

This year, The Digis had over 20 categories which featured a wide range including Most Innovative Digital Media Technologies, Best in Branded Entertainment, Best Use of Social Media and others, making the event the top destination for Canada’s leaders in advertising, media and technology.

Best in E-Learning: Montreal: Evolution through Architecture and Urbanism (ARTH298M), eConcordia

Best in Mobile Applications: Totally Amp’d, Smokebomb Entertainment

Best in Tablet Applications: Aux Magazine for iPad, AUX TV, Blue Ant Media
