Retailer Longo’s, has partnered with Unata, a digital shopper marketing company to offer grocery shopping on the go through Grocery Gateway and Longo’s customers with a new mobile app launched this week. Longo’s is the first retailer in Canada to offer this type of solution, which is currently only available on as an iPhone app or through mobile web app.
The Grocery Gateway mobile apps are powered by Unata’s Shopper Marketing Platform, which helps to connect seamlessly to a retailer’s systems and uses customer data, including transaction history, to deliver an instantly personalized experience to every shopper across any mobile device. It enables the retailer to send highly targeted offers, for both transactional and non-transactional events, to engage shoppers inside and outside of the store.
