Score Media Shareholders Green Light Acquisition By Rogers Media, Will Digital Assets Come Next?

Score Media announced today that its shareholders voted in favour of the acquisition of Score Media by Rogers Media for $167 million, however this excludes Score’s digital assets.  A new company will be formed to hold the digital media assets of Score Media.  So we have to ask, why didn’t Rogers acquire the entire company?
