EnerTech Capital and Export Development Canada (EDC) announced there $3.85 million co-investment in Smart Grid cyber security company N-Dimension Solutions Inc. EnerTech Capital Managing Directors Scott Ungerer and Wally Hunter will join the Board of Directors as EDC’s Eugene Siklos will stand as an observer to the Board of Directors.
N-Dimension is a security solution provider for critical infrastructure operators. The company concentrates on addressing the emerging issues with cyber attacks and compliance regulations. Dominating the North American Electric Utility market, the company currently deals with over 2,200 public power companies and about 900 cooperatives.
An investment in Cyber Security has been a long search for EnerTech Capital. Energy is sector of substantial growth worldwide, Canadian companies protecting energy investments have the contingency to become global leaders. The global opportunity for Cyber Security solutions for both the grid and other critical infrastructure assets (water, oil and gas and transportation) represents a significant market opportunity.
