Toronto has always been known for it active and quite large arts and culture community and Sceneopolis.com has tapped into that offering readers a paid arts and culture subscription service. The site went live September 1, 2011, and has become a home to Toronto’s culture scene, helping to connect the well over 150 weekly performance across Toronto and Torontonians looking for a dose of night life.

The site is now ready to launch inTO, a unique, interactive monthly series where top-tier arts and culture partners, as well as local artists, celebrities, notables, restaurants and nightlife venues, have been carefully combined to create unique events for their current and future members. All inTO experiences will include pre- and post-show activities with intimate access to the city’s cultural elite including meet-and-greets with casts, artists and celebrities.

“Our goal is to create excitement for the local arts scene amongst the younger demographic, especially in a time of ever-increasing strains on resources for arts and culture organizations,” said Mladen Svigir, co-founder of Sceneopolis. “We aim to offer original ‘money-can’t-buy’ experiences at an affordable price point to make experiencing the vast array of arts in the city a regular occurrence with ‘must-see’ monthly events.”

The inaugural inTO event is the Living Room Jam, taking place Thursday, July 19 at 8 p.m. at the new bar and restaurant Kitch (229 Geary Ave.). Co-hosting the evening is CityNews entertainment anchor Mary Kitchen and Jeffrey Remedios, co-founder of Arts & Crafts Productions.
