It seems like just yesterday attending an event in downtown, Toronto where FUSE Marketing Group celebrated their 5th anniversary in style, and now they are about to embark on their 10th year in business. The management team has been hard at work re-thinking and re-evaluating their business model, looking back at the years of succes providing a full range of marketing, digital, social, promotion, direct and experiential services to clients across Canada. As part of the new era for FUSE, they have announced a few key changes such as new senior hires, the formation of a new social media group, a renewed commitment to results driven work, employee empowerment and recognition programs, and a new look and positioning statement for its corporate identity in anticipation of its upcoming 10th anniversary. The new positioning statement is Reimagine Results.
“The new look and brand message are an affirmation of the core strategy behind everything the agency does,” says Stephen Brown, President, FUSE Marketing Group. “We produce work that delivers tangible results for our clients and we needed to refresh the way we bring ourselves to the market. In issuing the challenge we can dramatically demonstrate the efficacy of how we build our business and, most importantly, the businesses of our clients,” he added.
The agency’s new positioning statement — Reimagine Results — was developed in-house by the firm’s creative department. A dramatic new logo was designed by Toronto graphic design house AmoebaCorp which is an organic design that can be produced in different iterations. It features the FUSE letters morphing into different configurations on a circular background that shifts in colour from dark blue through to light blue as well as red. The letters use the same colour palette as the background but in contrasting combinations.
“Reimagine Results takes a fresh look at how a client might achieve better results from their communications,” says Mr. Brown. “It’s a call to action, newly minted, on which we have been delivering over the past ten years. However, we felt we needed a fresh set of eyes for the graphic execution of our objective. AmoebaCorp has provided a visually stunning and simple expression which we think sums us up perfectly.”
Along with the new look and signature, including a refreshed web site, the agency created a new division — the Fuzz social media team.
