McRobbie Optamedia Appoints New Creative Director

McRobbie Optamedia, an Edmonton-based advertising agency announces today that it has appointed Krystin Royan as Creative Director, effective June 21, 2011. Mr. Royan will work alongside current Art Director, Valery Goulet to provide leadership within the agency’s creative team.

Krystin’s past client work includes notable advertising campaigns for the Edmonton Journal, the Edmonton Indy, Capital Health, the City of Edmonton, the Government of Alberta, MADD (Mother’s Against Drunk Driving), Servus Credit Untion and Western Canada Lotteries. Prior to joining McRobbie Optamedia, Mr. Royan was Senior Copywriter at DDB Canada’s Edmonton office and a Copywriter at Calder Bateman Communications and MKM.

With more than a hundred industry awards and honours to his name, Mr. Royan’s work has been recognized at local, national and international levels in awards shows and publications including the Advertising Club of Edmonton’s ACE Awards, International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), Applied Arts, Marketing Magazine, New York Festivals and Archive.
