Stephanie Nerlich Appointed President And CEO Of Grey Canada

Jim Heekin, Chairman and CEO of Grey Group just announced that  Stephanie Nerlich has been appointed  President and CEO of Grey Canada, responsible for their offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Waterloo. Stephanie brings 20 years of multi-channel communications experience, demonstrated leadership achievements at Lowe Roche and BBDO Canada and a track record as a champion of superior creative and client service.

Before Grey, she served as President and CEO of Lowe Roche since October 2008. She led a portfolio of premium brands including Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Nestle Purina, Audi, Miele and Mackenzie Investments. During her tenure, the agency achieved significant growth, winning new business from Unilever, PartSource, a division of Canadian Tire, Crystal Head Vodka, Bento Nouveau and the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Nerlich spent more than a decade at BBDO Canada, rising to the post of Senior Vice President, Executive Managing Director.

A pacesetter in integrated communications, she was part of the executive team that led BBDO’s re-engineering from a traditional advertising agency to a multi-disciplinary communications solutions company. She contributed to the success of such leading marketers as Pepsi, Frito-Lay, GE, Wrigley, FedEx, Mars Inc., Mitsubishi, Campbell’s, Tropicana, Ontario Tourism and the Ontario Ministry of Health.

Stephanie Nerlich began her career as Marketing Manager at Fidelity Investments before entering account management at The Wolf Group and later JWT. She is a founding board member of the Ad Women of Toronto.

Grey Canada was previously headed up by Ann Nurock who has now left Grey after a twenty-year career at Grey in North America and South Africa.
