Just in time for the November 17th release of the next Bond film “Casino Royale” staring Daniel Craig. Diageo home to such brands as Smirnoff, Guinness, Johnnie Walker, Baileys, J&B, Cuervo, Captain Morgan, Crown Royal and Tanqueray has launched a microsite dedicated to the film at www.smirnoff.com/casinoroyale. The site offers a contest with a chance to win the “World of 007” with a trip to the Bahamas and
$7,000 spending money. Here’s the twist, to be eligible to win the content entrants must “craft a remix that will make 007-himself proud”, which is to download the original James Bond film theme and remix it. I spent a few minutes on the site, as I clicked through I became Double 00 010908 entering my Smirnoff decoder number which is found on specially marked bottles of Smirnoff for my chance to win some additional prizes, hearing the theme song in the background you can’t help but get excited and engaged in the brand.
The site also has movie trailers for those who want a sneak peek, looks like a pretty good film for the 21st installment in the Bond series.
Next time you’re at the liquor store pick up a bottle of Smirnoff and try this recipe found on the site:

The Smirnoff Royale
——————-
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 1 1/2 oz. Smirnoff vodka shaken
with 1/4 oz. fresh lime juice, 2 tsp. honey and 2 oz. white cranberry juice.
Stir until chilled and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
