Another telecommunications provider has jumped into the game to become Canada’s Next Top Wirless provider as Eastlink, the Halifax-based company has announced the have submitted an application to enter to Industry Canada’s Auction for Spectrum Licences for Advanced Wireless Services (“AWS”). Eastlink joins Yak Communications and Quebecor who have already submitted applications.
Michelle reminds how back in the day consumers were paying upwards as much as $100 for monthly service so competition is definitely a good thing.
