The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Launches iPhone App

With the growing popularity of smart phone devices such as the Apple iPhone, they have become a great platform to connect with audiences across the country, and well the world.  The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation recently launched their own Apple iPhone App, http://itunes.com/apps/cbcf.

Victoria Mackinlay, Manager Marketing & Communications at the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation commented saying, “The Foundation is delighted to offer our supporters this easy to use, purpose-built App that will provide the latest breast cancer and Foundation-related information, a convenient way to donate and to connect with our thriving online community. We encourage all Canadians who have been touched by breast cancer to connect with us through this free application.” The app was developed pro-bono by BrawerSoft, in both English and French. Users will now be able to get the latest news and event listings, have access to the CBCF’s online community and register for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure and check fundraising progress and make donations.
