There has been a lot of discussion for months around the world Palm’s new device Palm Pre, many have called it the iPhone killer and some have said it is the device that will save Palm. Bell Mobility has gotten the jump on the others and is bringing it to Canada first on their 3G network according to Brodie Keast, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Palm, Inc. Many of the features that we’ve now become accustomed to are included in this smart phone such as Bluetooth, music player, expandable memory capabilities and WIFI. The opportunity for advertising and marketers could be the new Palm WebOS. The new platform is called Palm Synergy and one of the features it promises is to allow customers to run multiple applications at once, which could be great for the those of us to like multi-task and want to download the latest sports scores and make a purchase from our favourite retailer at the same time.
