Volunteer Canada has launched a new site to help connect employer-supported volunteerism with Canadian nonprofits and businesses.
“This online tool will build upon a solid foundation of corporations that have already engaged their employees to give back to their communities,” said Ruth MacKenzie, president of Volunteer Canada. “Through partnership and communication, we will ensure that this engagement meets the needs of non-profit organizations across the country.”
The new site entitled the Centre for Excellence in Corporate Community Involvement is a new social networking tool designed to allow users to exchange ideas, best practices, tools and resources.
