The axe continues to drop at Yahoo Canada, so much that it has myself and many others wondering who is left. Yahoo has laid off another 5 – 6 employees from its Canadian division, which is unfortunate as they had a talented team such as Former-GM for Canada Kerry Munro. I guess they had to get the money to pay the advertising bill from somewhere?

My thoughts exactly. $100+ million for super flashy “what the heck was that?” ads that fall on their face and billboards that are the just brunt of so many jokes now. Meanwhile, tons of employees get the boot in the middle of an economic crisis. Must feel pretty crummy to sit at home, unemployed and have to see one of those insanely priced homages to pointless advertisement overspending roll by on the TV. Pathetic. What heartless, greedy billionaires those insiders on the top are at Yahoo. Hope they all lose everything someday to a misguided vision gone wrong. Of course, that would take three lifetimes to burn through the kind money those grossly overpaid Yahoo executives have. How much does Bartz make?
