Every year consumers flock to the malls in search of the “ultimate Christmas” gift for their friends or family, but with the unlimited amount of choices and lines up it can make anyone want to pull their hair out. For the 2009 holiday season, Fujifilm Canada has tapped Agent Wildfire to help them develop and launch a national word of mouth campaign called GetontheFlist.

As part of the campaign a Facebook Fan page was set up which states part of the campaign’s goal, “the F list is about inspiring better gifts, injecting some fun into the festive season and providing opportunities for winning Fujifilm cool rewards.” A number of other social media tool have also been used including Flickr, YouTube, Stumble Upon, and on Twitter. The campaign also took to the streets of Toronto and Vancouver with the Fuji Photo crew and F Mascot (see video below) with participates being able to take part in a scavenger hunt. There is also a “Best & Worst Ever Holiday Gift contest” for a chance to win Fuji prizes.
