Apple Picks Up Mobile Advertising Network Quattro Wireless, We Are Coming After You Google

After the rumours started surfacing on the internet last night, Andy Miller Vice President, Mobile Advertising at Quattro Wireless has confirmed on the company blog that Apple has acquired them for $275 million.  This move by Apple is in direct connect to Google’s purchase of competitive mobile advertising network AdMob last month.  Google’s deal to acquire AdMob is currently under Federal Trade Commission scrutiny, and the FTC might turn around and do the same to Apple especially when you consider the considerable large market share the Apple iPhone has today.
