Business-to-business multi-platform music and in-store media solutions provider Stingray (Marketplace Listing) has announced this week the promotion of Patrick Binette to the role of Director of Content and Programming.
Patrick first joined Stingray in 2009 and was promoted to Programming Manager, Stingray concerts & music videos shortly after that. In his new role he will manage a team of 100 music programmers; oversee the programming of all Stingray services including multiplatform audio channels, music video channels, and karaoke products; and lead Stingray’s outreach initiatives with artists and labels, with a special emphasis on promoting Canadian talent.
Over his 20+ year career he has held the position of director of music programming at MusiquePlus and has worked in the promotions and marketing departments of major music labels including A&M, Polygram, and Universal.
