Fact: @realdonaldtrump says what HE WANTS using his Twitter account
Fact: @realdonaldtrump has made numerous derogatory and offensive comments about human beings regardless of their race or sex
Fact: @twitter makes money from advertising, one way of which is traffic to on Twitter
For years Trump has used his personal Twitter account (which has over 33 million followers) to attack well EVERYONE, but it now many are calling for him to be banned by Twitter. Last week Trump conducted a Twitter onslaught aimed at MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski for comments they made about Trump on their show. His tweets instantly drew the attention of political and media landscape as many condemned Trump’s words and usage of the platform. A few days later Trump posted a 28-second video of an old WWE broadcast. The video had been edited to show Trump beating up a man with a CNN logo on his face. A few hours later the official @POTUS (Twitter account designated for the President of the United States) retweeted it to 19 million followers.
Are Hate Speech And Freedom Of Speech The Same Thing?
There is absolutely no doubt that a video where one person physically hits another is an act of violence and therefore encourages violence. That combined with the years of Trump calling people names and using other abusive words to describe people should be enough to build a strong case to delete or suspend Trump’s account, after all, it clearly states their own rules for combating abuse on the platform.
Twitter’s policy states that users “may not make threats of violence or promote violence” either directly or indirectly. The video that Trump tweeted a video that showed him slamming a person with a CNN logo for a face to the ground is clearly Trump condoning violence – and therefore Twitter is as well since the platform allowed the video to be broadcast.
While Twitter did not send to the video, are they not an accompanist?
How Much Does Twitter Make From Donald Trump Using Their Platform
Last July, Milo Yiannopoulos, an alt-righ commenter spearheaded an online harassment campaign against the movie Ghostbusters and one of its stars Leslie Jones which lasted about two weeks. Leslie eventually shut down her account, Twitter stepped in to permanently ban Yiannopoulos.
As a business Trump is good for Twitter, but how much does that platform need to make to turn its back on basic human decency and respect?

Good thing we have @JustinTrudeau running this country!
