Sandbox Advertising announced several promotions and new hires to the agency’s team in Toronto. Effective immediately, Dave Rewak has been promoted to Vice-President and Managing Director; Adam Brain is promoted to Director, Strategic Planning. Joining the team are Raj Dhillon as Director, Integrated Production and Brian Banchon as Media Director.
“Since joining Sandbox almost four years ago as the Director of Strategic Planning, Dave has had an enormous impact on the quality and culture of our agency,” said Jill King, President, Sandbox Advertising. “He has deep collaborative agency experience and knows how to get the best out of our team so that we do the best work for our clients. He’s an inspiring leader and one that is very well respected by both talent and clients alike.”
Stepping into Dave’s former role is Adam Brain, who has worked closely with Rewak on strategy over the past four years. “Adam’s digital background coupled with his extensive agency experience gives Sandbox a tremendous advantage as we look to engage consumers across the whole brand experience,” continued King.
New to Sandbox is Raj Dhillon, Director of Integrated Production, who joins the company with 11 years of advertising experience working with top tier brands and agencies. In this role, Raj will lead creative content production, while also ensuring integration across all disciplines. “Given the volume of creative content that we continually produce to connect with consumers, it was imperative that we set the table right in terms of the role production plays, and Raj’s integrated approach will do just that,” said King.
Also new to the team is Brian Banchon, Media Director, joining Sandbox from MediaCom where he was Account Director. Over his nine year career, Banchon has worked with brands across several industries, including automotive, telecommunications and packaged goods. King adds, “Connecting media with our strategic and creative teams is a major focus for us at Sandbox and Brian is a natural collaborator. His deep digital experience and creative thinking will allow us to bring full value to all of our clients’ plan.”
