Rivet has announced new additions to their team in Toronto this week with an Executive Creative Director and Senior Vice President of Strategy appointment.
Ian Mackenzie has been appointed Executive Creative Director (ECD), and in the role he will work closely with Todd Henwood, VP, Creative Director, to oversee and vitalize Rivet’s creative processes. Prior to joining, Ian was Executive Creative Director at kbs+ toronto for the last year, and had joined the agency as Creative Director. He has also been Associate Creative Director at Tribal DDB; Senior Copywriter at Tribal DDB; and Copywriter at Grip Limited.
Kim Farwell has been brought on to the Rivet team as Senior Vice president of Strategy where she will bring strategic leadership to partner with the agency’s clients. With a keen aptitude for technology, Kim is proficient in building robust, scalable marketing and sales technology solutions.
Kim has a background with American Express that involved leadership positions in the UK, Australia, and Hong Kong. She has also held consulting and agency roles focused on business-to-business, technology and the financial sector.
Fun Facts: Kim moved home over 30 times, lived 14 different cities/towns across 4 different continents and has attempted to learn 3 new languages, but prefers to just stick to English these days.
