As Canada’s top beauty retailer, the pressure is on Shoppers Drug Mart to deliver what Canadians want, and how they want to get their beauty products. This week Shoppers rolled out beautyBOUTIQUE, an e-commerce website that allows consumers to point, click and shop.
The new beautyBOUTIQUE.ca site gives customers the opportunity to view thousands of prestige beauty products for online purchase – and to collect Optimum points with each purchase. beautyBOUTIQUE.ca users can shop for fragrance favourites and essential beauty items while discovering new brands and innovative products.
According to Cathy Masson, Vice President Category Management, Shoppers Drug Mart, “The vision of beautyBOUTIQUE.ca was to create a unique online retail experience, all while keeping three things in mind – accessibility and reach, convenience through digital and brand assortment.”
Users can browse brands including Benefit, Clarins, Estée Lauder, Lancôme, Prada, Shiseido, stila and YSL. The site’s design incorporates the iconic Shoppers Drug Mart blue in an easy to navigate layout and provides a prestige feel that mimics the high-end feel of boutiqueBOUTIQUE stores.
