execution-labsThey may not work on a Microsoft Xbox or Sony Playstation, but indie games are hot, just ask Execution Labs who has secured $1.4M to help accelerate its incubation studio in Montreal which they launched back last year.  The company will take applications from startups, train those with the most promise for three months or longer, offer them advice from industry experts, and help them launch their mobile apps. Execution Labs will also help with marketing and customer acquisition support, as well as live operations. The funding came from lead investor BDC Venture Capital, with participation by co-investors Real Ventures and White Star Capital.
