FUSE Marketing Group announced the addition of three new hires to the brand activation agency in Toronto this week. Kelley Doris takes the reins as Digital Communications Strategist and Brook Johnston returns to the agency as copywriter, both joining the agency’s creative team led by CD Patrick Weir. Scott Heaney joins the digital department, headed by VP Lane Buie, as director of delivery and will lead execution on digital projects.
The portfolio of work by Kelley — formerly of Goods & Services — represents major brands in a variety of categories including Fairmont Hotels, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Sobeys, HBC Financial, Fujifilm, PC Financial, LCBO, Joe Fresh, Home Depot and Royal Bank. At FUSE she will take the lead in the community management of Kruger’s brands across their social networks as well as creating social content for Cashmere, Scotties, Sponge Towels, EnviroCare and Purex.
Brook Johnston returns to FUSE from Cheil where he worked on Samsung Canada, developing national campaigns for their mobile, home appliance, and consumer electronic divisions.
As the leader of all agency projects, Scott is responsible for directing and supervising the project management organization, and best practices in delivery. His focus will be on planning, defining, and executing interactive projects at the highest level of quality required to achieve measurable results for clients.
