AOL Canada has announced today that Susan Byng joined the organization as Head of Specialist Sales. In the new role, Susan will lead all product specialist sales resources, will drive deep focus on products and platforms, including programmatic, premium formats, branded content, video and mobile advertising solutions to ensure that we are working together with our partners to drive innovation in the advertising space.
Susan’s previous roles include Director at Microsoft Advertising Canada; Director, Digital Media Sales at Canwest; Associate Director Strategic Alliances, Sympatico/ MSN; Senior Manager, National Sales at Trader Corporation. As Susan takes on the role at AOL Canada, this now unites her and recently appointed General Manager of AOL Canada, Joe Strolz for the forth time. Additionally, Dana Toering who serves as Head of Revenue, will take on additional responsibilities for driving revenue success for AOL Canada. Dana will lead all revenue efforts for AOL Canada, including sales, business development, publisher and member services. In this role, all AOL Canada account executives and business development resources will continue to report to Dana and he will add publisher and member services resources to his team.
