JAN Kelley Marketing Makes Leadership Changes, Also Promotes And Adds New Talent

Today JAN Kelley Marketing announced a number of changes to its talent roster as the 100 year old organization prepares for its next phase of business. ” Chantel Broten has been appointed President of JAN Kelley Marketing.  Chantel brings more than 15 years of experience in global branding and has spearheaded the development of integrated multi-channel marketing platforms for clients such as GO Transit, Genuine Health, Sobeys/Compliments and Canadian Blood Services, to name a few. Jim Letwin will continue as Chief Executive Officer, actively providing leadership to the business and its clients.

Mary Fearon, Communications Director, joins the leadership team to help lead and operationalize the agency vision. Mary joined JAN Kelley in 2011 with a mandate to establish and build the communications practice area at a time when the convergence of public relations, social media and advertising fundamentally changed how organizations engage with their stakeholders.

Shannon Ballard has been appointed to Director of Brand Experience, a new division for JAN Kelley.  Prior to joining Shannon was Director of Marketing for the Canadian Football League where she spearheaded the 100th Grey Cup celebration, which included a 150-stop national train tour.      

Devin Hollis has been hired as the company’s Creative Technology Director to bring creative problem solving and the latest thinking in user experience to bear on the increasing role of digital technology. Prior to this role, he worked on building innovative and digital experiences for one of the largest NGOs in the country, World Vision Canada.    

Dan Clark joined as Group Business Director, with prior agency experience including Publicis, McLarenMcCann and Young & Rubicam.  During this time, he helped build brands such as Kia, Chrysler, Ford, WestJet and Air Miles.

Within the agency, Geoff Redwood has been promoted to Associate Creative Director. Geoff has more than 15 years with the agency and will continue to provide creative strategy to clients such as Petro-Canada, Melitta Canada, and Deeley Harley-Davidson, to name a few. He will also take on a broader leadership and mentoring role within the agency.

Also being promoted is Tanya Garcia to Group Account Director, she will continue to work with clients and take on work with the broader agency to optimize its resources and workflow. Prior to joining JAN Kelley, Tanya worked with brands like Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca and Pepsi QTG during stops at MarketForce, OSL Marketing and Brightworks Interactive Marketing.
