Scott Moore Appointed President Of Sportsnet & NHL, Rogers Media

With Rogers new 12-year national broadcast and multimedia deal NHL deal signed, the company has announced the Scott Moore as President of Sportsnet & NHL, effective immediately.

In this new role, Scott will lead these two priority sports portfolios, leveraging the company’s cable, wireless and suite of media assets to deliver world-class hockey and sports experiences to fans across the country. Moore will serve on the Rogers Media Senior Leadership Team.

Previously, Scott was President of Broadcast at Rogers Media, overseeing programming, production, regulatory, engineering and distribution of the company’s TV and radio assets. Prior to joining Rogers Media in 2010, Moore was Executive Director of CBC Sports and General Manager of CBC’s Media Sales & Marketing department. He also served as Vice President of CTV Sportsnet (now Sportsnet) from 1998 to 2003, and oversaw production and technical elements of its successful launch.
