With offices now in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, Facebook Canada announced this morning the addition of 7 new team members and 1 promotion effective immediately. The new hires include:
Ashley Olson Rutledge, Group Director, Global Marketing Solutions. Ashley recently moved from New York to lead Facebook Canada’s financial services practice. Ashley has worked at Facebook for over four years and managed a large roster of financial services clients in her previous role in the U.S. Before becoming a member of the Facebook team Ashley held posts at CNN Ad Sales and Atlas Solutions.
Jeremy Cain, Client Partner, Jeremy brings his media background in classifieds, display advertising and partnerships. Previous to his appointment at Facebook Jeremy worked at Kijiji where he was the team lead for Display Advertising.
Stephen Dixon, Client Partner, where he will be working with Canada’s largest marketers and agencies to build compelling media solutions on the Facebook platform. Previous to his position at Facebook Stephen worked at Wave HQ as Vice President of Advertising & Media Sales, he also held senior positions at Deloitte and Asset Inc.
Sarena Ally, Account Manager, as part of the Account Management team she works with Canada’s top brands on social planning, marketing solutions and business development on the Facebook platform. Prior to joining the Facebook team Sarena held positions at both OMD and Zenith Optimedia in digital strategy and planning.
Jesse Epstein has been hired as an Account Manager, before his post at Facebook Jesse worked for MyWebGrocer and Dealer.com. Earlier in his career Jesse founded Loveopolis, an online dating network matching and connecting people online through an interactive social experience.
Victoria Wong has been promoted to the position of Associate Account Manager at Facebook Canada. In her new role Victoria will be responsible for supporting the Sales Team to deliver exceptional client experience, provide insight into Facebook pages and media activity and streamline operational support requests. Previous to her new role Victoria worked as a receptionist and administrative assistant at Facebook Canada.
In Facebook Canada’s Quebec office is Sylvain Martel, who was appointed lead for their Montreal office, with an official title of Client Partner. As the head of the Montreal office, Sylvain works with Canadian brands looking to increase their presence in Quebec along with Quebec-based brands and agencies that are looking to expand their audience in Quebec and beyond. Prior to his position at Facebook Sylvain was an Account Director and Digital Lead at MediaCom.
Damien Duprat has also joined the Montreal office as Account Manager, Global Marketing Solutions. Damien Duprat moved from Paris where he had been working for Facebook since 2009. In his role as Account Manager, Damien works with clients to develop social strategy, marketing solutions and digital execution. Before joining the Facebook team Damien worked at MySpace as a Senior Account Manager and Digitas, with both positions based in Paris.
