Vancouver-based Tagga recently completed a campaign for adidas, LIDS and the Seattle Sounders to help promote the Seattle Sounders and LIDS stores. The campaign is comprised of two phases. Phase one of the campaign involves driving foot traffic to two LIDS retail outlets by offering an exclusive in-store sweepstakes to win a pair of Sounders’ tickets throughout the MLS season for each of the 15 home games. In phase two, the objective is to increase campaign reach with the addition of two media channels – Facebook and desktop from JAS Sports Inc.
Tagga created a cross-channel sweepstakes that enables persons to enter to win from multiple locations/media channels including from desktop, in-store, mobile and Facebook. Consumers are made aware of the sweepstakes and campaign mechanics through in-store advertisements, including a full-size window display as well as local market promotions pushed by the adidas team, including Facebook posts and mobile ad buys.
Consumers scan the QR Code or text the keyword SOUNDERS to 47170 (std messaging rates apply) and are brought to the campaign-landing page. Here, they are prompted to enter an entry code, which is updated for every new ticket prize. The code can be found in-stores, Seattle Teams page (http://www.seattleteams.com/SoundersTextOffer), or on the Seattle Teams Facebook page posts (https://www.facebook.com/seattleteamshop).
The campaign was launched on August 26 and runs until October 27, 2013
