With their laser focus on the 45+ segment of the market, ZoomerMedia launched its latest product this week called everythingzoomer.com. The “supersite” as they call it aims to be a “one-stop shop” for delivering curated content, interactive services and social networks to one of the fastest-growing demographics online. Everythingzoomer.com stakes claim to a wide swathe of online territory in which the Zoomer brand is already a recognized leader. ZoomerMedia, whose operations are national and multi-platform, creates content, services and experiences for the 15.1 million Canadians who make up the 45+ generation.
“Our intention – and my prediction – is that everythingzoomer.com will quickly become the default home page for baby boomers,” said Moses Znaimer, founder of ZoomerMedia.
The new initiative is being spearheaded by Zoomer Editor-in-Chief Suzanne Boyd and McLean Greaves, ZoomerMedia’s VP of Digital, who wanted to create a web destination that integrates creative and editorial with multi-platform capacity and technological functionality, e
“We are listening to our users to ensure we’re delivering what they’re looking for from relevant content to responsive design,” said McLean Greaves, VP, Digital, ZoomerMedia. “The web isn’t a static environment – neither is everythingzoomer.com,” he added.
Over 12% of the site’s current traffic already comes from mobile with an anticipated increase to at least 50% once everythingzoomer.com gets beyond its beta phase.
