Y&R Toronto Expands Creative Team, Hires Five

Rosenberg, Francolini, Smith, Geonanga and Chetrandra, Young & RubicamY&R Canada has just announced the addition of five team members to the agency’s roster of talent in their Toronto office who will be report to the new Creative Directors Mark Francolini and Jonathan Smith.

Mark and Jonathan will work closely with Israel Diaz, Chief Creative Officer at Y&R in leading the creative development on the Ford of Canada account, Y&R’s largest client.  Mark was previously with Zulu Alpha Kilo where he spent the last five years working extensively on clients including Bell Canada, Audi, Coca-Cola, Corona, and Puma. Jonathan arrived from TBWATORONTO working on clients including Nissan, Petro Canada, Visa and Gatorade. Both Mark and Jonathan have picked up their share of international awards including One Show, Cannes, D&AD and Clios and are thrilled to partner up at Y&R.

Cheryl Geonanga comes to Y&R having worked at TAXI, DDB and John St. She has won numerous awards for her work with Durham College and Rethink Breast Cancer. Appanna Chetrandra brings with him a variety of experience having previously done stints at Clean Sheet, Bos and Leo Burnett. Cole Rosenberg has worked previously on Telus, Canadian Tire, McCain, Bell and Kellogg’s at agencies TAXI and Leo Burnett.
