Keep Hope AliveWith streaming video services such as Netflix continuing to expand their offering, and new streaming media services coming from BELL the days of the dvd rental seem short lived.  However last week Redbox announced that it has hit a major milestone.  In ten months after its first rental in Canada, the new release movie and video game rental service rented its millionth disc.

To celebrate the landmark rental, Redbox is offering rental deals to Canadian movie lovers, which they can find on the Redbox Canada Facebook page between now and April 11, 2013. Redbox is also inviting Canadian customers to enjoy a free one-night DVD rental on March 27, 2013, if they’ve signed up at redbox.ca or at the kiosk to be on the Redbox Canada email list.
