Newad announced a few adjustments to its team this week as Didier Lortie has been promoted to the newly created position of Creative Director, Zacharie Lavertu-Rondel to Art Director and Michael Cadamia to the role of Graphic Producer.
Didier Lortie, who has been in the role of Art Director since 2008, takes on the role of Creative Director, and will be in charge of the creative team, including the new Art Director and the Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver teams of Graphic Designers.
Reporting to Julie Phaneuf, Didier was previously responsible for the design and artistic direction of Experiential Marketing and Web campaigns. He and his team conceived and produced strategic brand experiences for multiple clients such as Coppertone, Nintendo, Merck, Volkswagen, Pfizer and Cirque du Soleil. In the fall of 2010, Didier redesigned and launched Newad’s visual identity, which included a revised logo.
Zacharie Lavertu-Rondel, who has joined ad an Art Director, and will work with the Experiential Marketing, Indoor Advertising, Web and Content sales teams to conceive and develop visual and advertising platforms, in collaboration with clients and agencies. Zacharie will also oversee every team of graphic designers across the country.
Michael Cadamia come to Newad as a Graphic Producer, he previously worked as a graphic designer at the head office of Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC). He contributed to several awarded and honored projects and also worked for Fillip Magazine, Farmboy Fine Arts and Chalk Media. Michael graduated from the Emily Carr University of Art + Design as well as from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Reporting to the Art Director, Michael will work closely with every division’s sales teams to offer clients and agencies creative and interesting ideas in order to optimize their advertising performance
