Digital marketing agency Critical Mass continues to expand the management team in their Chicago office, this week they promoted Kim Clifford to Vice President, Insight & Planning, from her previous role as Group Planning Director, and hired industry veteran David Hartt as Vice President, Creative.
As Vice President, Insight & Planning, Kim Clifford will be responsible for leading the strategic planning process for clients to drive consumer insights, bringing 14 years experience to her team. She has expertise as a brand planner, drawing from her roots in digital, marketing and user experience design. She began her career in development but soon found her passion for brand and customer insights were perfectly matched to the planning environment. She has worked at Cossette Interactive, Tribal DDB and most recently Venture Communications, and brings knowledge from various industries including Banking, Insurance, Investing, e-Commerce, Energy, Government, Education and Tourism.
David Hartt joins Critical Mass as VP Creative, charged with leading the creative vision on new business pitches all while elevating the day-to-day work of the agency’s creative teams. He started his advertising career in at Razorfish and Ammirati Puris Lintas in New York. He then served as Design Director at Draftdigital, and IVT. In 2005, he joined Arc Worldwide in Chicago as a Creative Director initially overseeing Cadillac Interactive work and then subsequently the integrated BlackBerry account. After that, he served as Group Creative Director at Razorfish, leading the creative discipline for the Seattle office and overseeing the Best Buy and Levi’s accounts. Most recently, David was a VP Creative Director at DraftFCB Chicago.
