Some big changes taking place over at advertising agency TAXI today as they have just announcing new creative leadership appointments, Frazer Jelleyman will assume the role of Global Chief Creative Officer effective January 3, 2013. Steve Mykolyn, TAXI’s current Chief Creative Officer, will assume responsibilities as Chief Brand Officer. Both will report to Rob Guenette, Global Chief Executive Officer.

Frazer Jelleyman brings more than 15 years of senior creative leadership to TAXI. The former Executive Creative Director of David&Goliath (London) worked for 10 years at BMP DDB under legendary Executive Creative Directors John Webster and Tony Cox. He spent 10 years as Joint Creative Director at TBWALondon. Over the last two years he has led Red Bee Media and his work for the BBC has been awarded with the Platinum Overall Special Award for Creation.

Steve Mykolyn, who joined TAXI in 2001, has been key part of the agency’s success over the years, during his tenure he nurtured the agency’s integration model to seamlessly combine advertising, interactive and design under one roof.

Steve will be responsible for making the TAXI brand globally understood and leveraged, amplifying the core “Doubt” philosophy both internally and externally. He will also be taking leadership in refining TAXI’s digital and social channels.

In other changes, Lance Martin, Executive Creative Director of TAXI 2, has accepted a new leadership role for a soon-to-be-announced start-up. His last day will be November 30. Darren Clarke, Executive Creative Director, will assume the role until Martin’s replacement is found.

Lance Martin has spent 12 years at TAXI Toronto, six of which were at TAXI 2 where he built an enviable reputation with consistent national and global creative recognition.
